Emil Pickleball Harbor Coach

PICKLEBALL HARBOR COACHEMIL HEINTZINGER

In the fall of 2017, Emil walked into the basketball courts of the local YMCA and saw a game he had never seen before. Someone handed him a paddle to use, asked if he’d like to try pickleball, and he jumped right in. The sport has changed his life in many ways. He increased his activity levels — which led to weight loss and healthy habits, he was welcomed socially into a new vibrant community and had increased motivation and hand/eye coordination.

Emil plays pickleball as many times a week as his body will allow — and sees teaching intro courses as a way to keep active in the sport, while helping others develop good habits. He lives in Plum Boro with his wife, Suzanne, and has one grandson, who is learning play pickleball in high school.

Emil is a Certified Level One Coach by Pickleball Coaching International and loves helping beginners and intermediate players learn and improve their game.

FORMER PRESIDENT - MONROEVILLE PICKLEBALL ASSOCATION

I love sharing the joy that comes with playing this game. Pickleball is a sport for all ages and athletic abilities. Through coaching, I inspire individuals to not only improve their skills on the court but also to embrace the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and a lifelong love for an active and fulfilling lifestyle.
