FACILITY QUESTIONS

Why should I play at Pickleball Harbor rather than somewhere else?
When we designed Pickleball Harbor, we wanted to solve all of the problems we’ve seen with playing outdoors and dramatically upgrade the local indoor playing experience. We visited multiple indoor facilities locally and across the United States and we knew we could improve the playing surface, lining, lighting, acoustics, low ceilings, wait times, skill matching, and welcoming new players. At Pickleball Harbor, you have reserved play times. No waiting for a court, being intimated trying a new sport, or being at the mercy of the elements. We have thought of every detail and designed the ultimate pickleball playing experience.

What are the courts like at Pickleball Harbor?
We have six dedicated pickleball regulation-sized courts with professional nets, lines, court dividers, and indirect lighting. The court surface is concrete with acrylic paint and plays exactly the same as outdoor courts. Ceilings are 26′ high.

What type of ball is best to use at Pickleball Harbor?
You will want to use outdoor balls at Pickleball Harbor because these are outdoor courts in an indoor setting. If you don’t have outdoor balls, we have them for sale at our pro-shop.

Is Pickleball Harbor climate controlled?
Yes! The entire facility has state-of-the-art heat and air conditioning. Play year-round in the comfort of 70 degrees with no wind.

Are there restrooms and showers?
We have indoor restrooms, but not showers.

Do I have to bring my own Pickleball gear?
You don’t have to. We have paddles available for rent for both members and visitors along with balls for sale.

Does Pickleball Harbor sell pickleball equipment?
Absolutely. We have Pickleball Harbor custom merchandise along with brand name paddles, balls, bags, tape, gloves, shirts, etc. We also have demos available for you to try-before-you-buy.

Is there food and drink onsite?
We offer cold drinks such as water, Gatorade, Pickleball Cocktail, Liquid IV, and sodas along with snacks such as protein bars, trail mix, and nuts.

Can I bring my own food and drink?
You may bring small snacks and drinks as well, but only water is allowed on the courts themselves.

Can I hold a private party or corporate event at the club?
Yes, we will work with you to determine how many courts you need, and which ones we should reserve for you. Please contact us for at info@pickleballharbor.com for pricing.

PROGRAM QUESTIONS

Are beginners welcome?
Absolutely. With such a huge pickleball community and quantity of courts, our goal is to help everyone find the right group to play with. If you’ve never played pickleball before, we also offer a 100% FREE Intro to Pickleball class to teach you the game, scoring, positioning, and basic paddle skills. Paddles and balls are complimentary for this one-time teaching session.

What kind of play do you offer at Pickleball Harbor?
We offer drop-in, level play, leagues, lessons, and private court reservations. We offer almost every version of pickleball that exists. Check out our schedule to see our upcoming events.

What is drop-in play?
Drop-in play allows individuals to play with a variety of partners as they rotate in and out to mix with others of different skill levels. All players, of any skill set, can attend and play against one another. Multiple sessions are available daily, seven days a week. If you prefer to play with your same group instead of a rotation of different partners, we recommend a private court reservation.

What is level play?
Level play is an organized, structured drop-in where players of similar skill play on the same court. During level play, there will be courts assigned to beginners, intermediates, and advanced players. Players will still rotate similar to drop-in play, but level play is more fair and competitive as opposed to drop-in which is more social.

How long is a drop-in/level play session at Pickleball Harbor?
The standard length of all sessions is 2.5 hours. We understand that some players used to congested outdoor courts prefer three hours of play, but at Pickleball Harbor there is limited to zero wait times which increases your time spent on the court.

Do I have to bring my own partner to play at Pickleball Harbor?
No, for drop-in play or level play we will pair you with players. For drop-in play you will be paired with whoever’s there, or you can play socially with your friends. For level play, you will be paired with individuals of a similar skill set. Some events, like certain leagues, will require you to bring a partner, but most Pickleball Harbor activities do not require a partner.

Do you offer leagues?
Yes, Pickleball Harbor will offer leagues for beginners through the most advanced players.

Do you host tournaments?
No, we are focused on our members by providing them the opportunity to play as often as possible.

What is your cancellation policy?
For annual and monthly members, there is a 24-hour cancellation/reschedule policy. If cancelled with a 24-hour notice, you will receive a credit to your account. No credits will be given if canceled or rescheduled with less than 24-hour notice. To cancel a reservation, log into CourtReserve and select “My Reservations”. Find the date and time of your reservation and select “Cancel Reservation”.

All refunds will be credited to your account as a balance credit. Refunds are processed within three business days.

For visitors, all reservations are final and noncancelable.
